Effexor XR and hair loss/weight gain?

My doctor took me off of Lexapro because it made me to tired throught hte day and now just started effexor XR 75 I have heard good and VERY bad things about this pill and I am very worried. I am taking it for my panic attacks. Does anyone take this drug and if so what was you're experiance? I heard weight loss but I am afraid I will gain also I heard of people losing their hair!

EVERY medication has POSSIBLE side effects. I take Lamictal and it could kill me. LOL Does that make possible weight gain less scary? Hehe

I've been taking Effexor and Lexapro. When I ran out of Lexapro, my appetite fell off a lot so I think Effexor is going to help me lose weight. Prozac did. My hair has been okay on both.

Part of the reactions are what you expect and part are specific to you. If you're depressed, think about the exercise, human interaction and good food you need to eat to help yourself be at your best. Let any drug reactions work hard to get your attention.
