What I would do is stop wearing the baseball caps and refrain from wearing hats.Your head sweats and this can cause the hair shaft to be blocked for re-growth...very common with guys who were baseball caps all the time.

Buy shampoo that has a thickening agent in it...can buy at any drug store(Walgreens, CVS, SAV-ON).I don't have a name off hand but read the label. Should be easy to find.

Massage therapy on the scalp to stimulate blood flow.Just do it yourself...I like get shampoos at the salon because that's what they do...massage your scalp.

Eat Fish...and have a healthy diet. Exercise too.

Hormones change in our bodies every 7 years...and can cause some hair lose. Hopefully in about 6 months you should see some change. I don't think smoking has anything to do with it.

it's prolly not from smoking.. its natural to lose some hair ... i was losing at least a handfull at a time in the shower.. talk to your doctor.. see if its normal loss or actually balding..

While the act of smoking will not cause hair loss, it can be a contributing factor to minimal regrowth. Smoking decreases the blood flow throughout your body and can effect things such as hair regrowth, healing etc.

See your doctor and find out if there are any tests that can be done.

I would be worried to if it was me i don't think its because you smoke but saying that smoking can deplete vitamins B and C in the body vitamin B is associated with having healthy hair are you under a lot of stress worrying about any thing .you really should make an appointment to see your doctor because they can advise you and put you in contact with specialists who can really help you good luck

hey, hair loss can be due to lots of things, mostly its genetic for men (i think). smoking may cause hair loss but not necessarily so..apparently there s a chemical called cadmium in cigarettes that can cause problems like this. i'm a woman going thru hair loss as well and trying to find whats the best solution for me, i'm also a smoker. why dont you go to this website www.hairlosstalk.com. its really good, the best i found so far that gives lots and lots of info abt hair and hair loss...they might be able to help you understand somethings..good luck.

I hope it's not 'cause you're a smoker, 'cause I smoke and I don't want to be bald. I am planning to quit soon though I'm sick of it, it does nothing for you except take you money and the worst make your lungs feel shitty and possibly over time end up with something worse than just felling shitty %26amp; for what? For the taste I smoke and I can sit here and say that people who smoke are retarded, but it's one of lives addictions people fall into. I had / have a friend just haven't seen him forever a friend that started going bald at about eighteen. So everyone is different.
