I'm thinking of permanently straightening my hair?

but i don't have that much money, so i was wondering if those home straightening kits are okay, or whether i'll lose my hair or something. i'm not expecting like, perfectly straight results, but my hair isn't curly or wavy in a nice way, it's just frizz. any help?

thanks

Truthfully, If I were you, I wouldn't permanently straighten your hair. I did about two years ago, and where the part in my hair was, the hair broke off because of the chemicals. So then I had new hair starting to grow and I had to part my hair on the opposite side. I know from it experience that it is really bad for your hair. You'd be better off flat-ironing it every day like I do. If you must, then I would have a professional do it. Hope this helps.

deff don't permanently straighten it. It ruins the hair more, and would give you more frizz.. I had the same problem until I used pantene pro- v conditioner, it reeeally helps with the frizz, after that you should try a home straightener (flat iron) works wonders with my frizzy hair! Report It

I think you better start saving some money because it楹搒 a really strong procedure for your hair and if something goes wrong you will end up with a huge mess. Also if you color your hair It wont be worth the damage to your hair. I did ir with a professional and I had perfectly straight for 6 months but my hair got so thin and lifeless so i don楹搕 recommend it at all. I say you buy a good straightening iron and have more options on how to wear your hair

Any chemical procedure on "virgin" hair should be done professionally. I say save your money. In the mean time try some different hairstyles like braids or wet sets to pass the time. They usually last longer and work pretty well with your hair type.

Home straightening kits are okay,But they should always be done by a professional,Find a hairdresser in city/town and let them do it.

I did one of those home straightening kits at home, and my hair kinda broke off because the chemicals stayed on too long,And because I didn't deep condition like I was supposed to.

After using any type of chemicals on your hair, always deep condition to prevent breakage,That is a must!

Hope this helps you!

First: there is no such thing as "permanently straightening" your hair. Once you get it done, you'll have new growth which will be a different texture from the hair already straightened. That's what you call a "touch up". So that's what I mean by you not being able to "permanently straightening" your hair.

If I were you, I would not get the home kits. There are several you can chose from, but if you aren't careful you can damage your hair.

It can be expensive to have a professional do it, but it's worth it! There is even a such thing as "gentle" "regular" and "super" strength relaxer's (straighteners). So you have to be careful with that too.

Good Luck!!
