Lossing hair?

I've been stating to lose some hair lately and now i have 2 bald spots on the front of my head, im 19 girl anyone have an idea why?

Lossing hair?

Fungus can cause bald spots and so can a vitamin deficiency and even stress.

Lossing hair?

could be that your eating a lot of junk food, and/or you are very stressful/worried about problems in life.

Lossing hair?

It could be due to a hormonal imbalance or a vitamin deficiency. See a dermatologist, they can help. In the meantime, take a good multivitamin.

Lossing hair?

Are you bulimic, being malnourished can cause hair lose

Lossing hair?

hormones?

Lossing hair?

try vitamin's, you could have a deficiency.

Lossing hair?

Go to your MD and have a TSH drawn. (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Hypo or Hyper Thyroidism can cause significant hair loss. Let your doctor know also if you have had any sudden weight gain or loss, abnormal periods, fatigue, or dry skin. All of these are symptoms of thyroid disorders. They are VERY easily treated and VERY under-diagnosed, especially in young women.

It is a blood test and the results will be back in 1-2 days. Good luck.

Lossing hair?

Stress or hormones cause hair loss as well as hereditary issues, go to a Dr.........Good luck!!

Lossing hair?

I'm pretty sure lovethe48 is the closest to right on this. My brother started to get a couple bald spots on his head at about that age and he went to the skin doctor and they said it was a low functioning thyroid. The only problem is that you'll probably have to take pills for the rest of your life :( They are amazingly cheap though, so thats no biggie. A few other symptoms would be your neck getting thicker, loosing hair on other body parts, weight gain, maybe being a little sleepier than normal. I don't know how often them other things take to start doing though...my brother waited months before going to the doctor, I'd just go now and get it over with. lol
