how can i strighten my hair, i got a lot of hair and its not that long. its a mess, i hate it, i can't grow it long because then it will become a huge mess. anyone know how can i lose some hair and strighten my hair without a hair straightener?

when you get your hair cut, ask to get it "thinned", this is where they take a sort of seratted razor thing, and they get rid o hair to thin your hair. you can get your hair chemical treated for getting it straight. but what i have heard from (from my questions lol) CHI flatting irons are the best. get a style memory product that will protect your hair from the heat and make it silky and soft after your done styling your hair. hope this helped!

you could get a straight perm, which lasts for seven months... or you could use a blow dryer, but that takes longer.lolz

A hair staightener is only temporary. I have the same problem myself. The barber said pretty much that your just born with the trait and there is nothing you can really do about waivy hair. I would just get the hair trimed in some areas to get rid of the thickness. I'd go ask a barber on what the best option is. They went to beauty school.

Try straightening it w/ a curling iron, I do that when I am in a rush %26amp; don't have time for the flat iron. If you are African American wrap your hair everynight!! Use a silk or satin scarf.

P.s. The only reason I ask if your African American is because it doesn't work on any other type of hair.
